As a crafter & seller, the most satisfying part of the business process

is not on the amount of bucks that counts. It is the making and

the feedback from the customers that counts.

It makes me feel that all the efforts that I've put into my craft business

all these while has been paid off when happy customers left me feedback.

constructing sentences to make it interesting to readers and things like that.

However, it could make the author of the blog happy and satisfied

when readers leave feed backs/comments on the blog posts.

I've been pretty busy lately.

With so many orders coming in, I hardly able to make any

dolls/ornaments for the upcoming festive season. :(

Since I was still a full time university student,

it was super tough for me to organize my time for maximum usage.

I often find that time is insufficient.

I sketched before proceeding in crocheting it.

But the colour combinations doesn't turn out as per sketched.

Fortunately, I speed-ed up in completing my orders and

finally get the chance to crochet a Christmas Bit Bit Doll.

Since, Bit Bit was the all-time fav of my amigurumi collection,

I decided to make a special / limited edition for it.

I've been doing lots of IG Monster Cozy for

iPhone 4 for the past week.

I love to do the packaging nicely.

It satisfied me even more when I get to know that

the receivers love them. :)

Ready to be dropped at the Post Office counter.

Duffy has gained some weight!

Plus, he knows some basic tricks now such as

sit and down. He's so cute and playful.

And he's also recovering from his skin problems. :))

It was my very first time doing so many Bit Bit Bunny

orders at the same time.

After working for almost a week plus,

all of them are completed! :D

I call them the Triplets Bit Bit Bunnies.

They are identical in all ways!

Lovely pastel yellow for the combinations ^^

I enjoy doing them and when I got to know that

everyone loves them is such a bliss.

One special request from one of my customers,

a string to be added so that she could hang

this little cutie on her car ^^

It was so hard for me to find a box for them.

I decided to recycle and use the big boxes and cut them into

square shapes and joined them together into a small little boxes.

Hours were spent on packaging though.

Luckily in the end, it was a satisfying result. :D

Wrapped them up and they looked just like

small little pressie packages ready to be

delivered to the receivers!

I wish them a safe journey to their new owners

in Australia, Sweden and USA. ♥

It was the most awesome weekend I've ever had. :D

First, I got myself a pup.

I have yearned to own a pup for my whole darn life.

And I'm super happy to adopt one now!!! :D

His name is Duffy.
I named him after a famous Disney Tokyo Sea character, Duffy.
We (my bf & I) think of all sort of names but we resolved in this name.

I think his fur looks like Duffy bear and this is also my fav bear. :)

Eventually, he'll be a big part of my life. ♥

Next, I went to Wonderful Pipit Market 7,

an art & crafts bazaar in Malaysia.

I was not chosen to go to Pipit 7 as one of the vendor there. :(

It was kinda disappointing for me, as it is my dream

to participate in one of the local bazaars.

However, I believe that if I work hard and have faith
in myself, my dream will come true one fine day.
I will try again in the near future :)

Besides, I met with my craft friend that I have not seen

in person. And she recognized me when I went to her stall.

I was so excited and I requested for a photo with her. :)

If you're reading this, I wanted to say I am so glad

that we met on that day! ^^

I got one of her polar bears.

They were tiny and cuteeee :)

Besides the polar bear, I also bought

sticker sets from Minifanfan.

I loveeeeeeeeeee her illustrations.

They were uber cute. ♥

I selected 2 from 10 of the stickers and have them

stick on my lappie. And I kept the other 8 until

I find places to stick them on. ^^

And that concludes my awesome weekend.

Happy Monday! :)

My love for IG - Instagram (an app for iPhone-rs) has lead me to

create this IG Monster.

I enjoy drawing it very much especially when I got a lot of feedback

from my beloved followers.

I got so busy with uni that I only have time to

draw for IG. I miss creating amigurumi dolls too.

The iPad2 cover that I've been working very hard over the week

have been finally completed! yay! :D

"Lame King" as requested was done on the cover. :)

Two buttons were sewn on the back of the cover.

The inner of the cover, I have used blue felt with white polka dots

to match with the theme.

I have doodled a thank you tag for my customer too.

I hope the receiver of this present will love it! :)

Marriage is always a bliss.

My cousin bro just got married last Sunday.

It's fun to see all of my relatives again.

We don't use to see each others often cuz we're living very far

apart. So, during my cousin bro's wedding day that was where we

have the opportunity to gather and talk. :)

The fun part of attending a wedding dinner is where I get to doll up.

Wearing glam clothes and looking totally different from my

casual dressing.

That is why I have not been blogging lately. HAHAHA.

I tried to fly a kite few days back.

I really did. However, it has failed each time I try to fly it

cuz it wasn't windy at all. I was really disappointed.

And so we started playing with my iPhone camera.

I have always wanted to take photos like above, with the sun thingy,

you know. And that's my boyfriend in the photo. :D

I've also tried experimenting by swinging my hair to see if the

effects are good. Nonetheless, it does looked a bit good. It always

has room for improvements. Somehow, someday, I'll try it again. :)

I've been spending my last week of holidays at the mall everyday.

Went for movies, food, shopping and more :)

The photo above is where I played with that funny glasses,

sold at Daiso. Do I look stupid? LOL

It has been a very meaningful month for me as it is

I didn't know that packaging up for your products can be this much fun.

Previously, I just made very simple packaging towards my

products, I have made an extra effort in packaging them.

The story untold and I'm gonna tell you now in this post! :D

The above picture was my very first amigurumi I did which

was like 6 months ago. I was really not satisfied with the outcome.

As you can see, it was not cute enough.

Apparently, amigurumi is relatively easy to do when you

acquired the knowledge and art of crochet. However, it need a

lots of patience and creativity to produce a cute and lovable end product.

It's all started when I first joined Instagram (an app on iPhone).

I began browsing on photos posted by other fellow IG-ers and

I discovered these cute little amigurumi dolls made by them.

The learning process is really painful as no one is able to teach me.

Besides, my mom is not familiar with crochet doll patterns.

However, with the help of YouTube tutorials and some books I bought,

I've finally managed to learn the correct ways to crochet a doll.

The WIP mini ShellieMay I'm doing, few months back.

I crochet mostly on patterns I got from the internet and books before I

started doing my own patterns. As time goes by, I crochet better and

I started designing my own patterns. ShellieMay was one of the first
patterns I've designed earlier on.

I was so happy with the outcome. Needless to say, I begin to do

more patterns myself.

Amigurumi dolls that I sold to one of my IG friend.

I shared all of my amigurumi works on IG and got really good responses

as well as compliments. I'm so happy and excited at the same time.

Motivation was what I've gained from the compliments I got all the time

from my beloved IG friends and followers.

I know that OLC is well known for it's felt products. However,

I reckoned that with the felt products I've made so far cannot

realize my dream. I want to build a brand name for myself,

with my crafts. That is why I have converted OLC to amigurumi

products.

I really hope that all my previous customers will understand the story

behind the changes made to OLC.

My hunger for crafts don't just stop there. I have also acquired the
skills in hand-carving rubber stamps too. It's really fun but that
will be just for personal use and for craft packaging purposes.

Yea, I'm trying real hard for the products that I'll be posting next.

I've been making more effort in taking photos for all my products.

I'm sure that no one would love to see messy backgrounds,

Suzie (Light brown) and Hippie (Dark brown) lives in the forest. They are really good friends as
they are the only two forest reindeer. They need a lot of loves and attention. I hope that they will soon be adopted to a warm and lovely home. :)

How is everyone been doing?

It has been almost half a year now since the last time I've

blogged about my craft products. Well, the good news is

I've finally completed my industrial training and I will be back

to work & blog about my crafts here in no time. ;)

To establish my own concept and brand name, I've

decided to work on only a few selected crafts instead of

multiple craft products like the one I did for my previous products

in year 2010. Although this bad news might disappoint y'all who loves
my felt products, but I hope I will get supports from each and
everyone of you in bringing fresh, new and super kawaii handmade
Amigurumi.

(Hint: Blog layout is designed via the Amigurumi I've made!)

I have discontinued most of my felt products in order to fulfill my dream

and vision for this blog. I'll be doing Amigurumi products only from now on.

Apart from that, I've also applied for Pipit Wonderful Market 7

and let's hope that I'll be selected. I've done lots of Amigurumi

and they are reserved for Pipit at the moment until they announced

the selected vendors. Here's a photo of my current crafts preparations.

Please take note that it will be for sale instantly at my

Etsy/Blog if I am not selected

as a vendor at Pipit Wonderful Market 7.

Other than that, I've also been working hard on the packaging
of my crafts. Here's a hand-carved stamp I did as part of the craft

products packaging purposes.

Oh, and I'm pretty addicted with Instagram too
