Unique like no others (◕‿◕✿)

It's a sunny Monday and I haven't been blogging much.

January 2013 is coming to an end real soon and it marks
that February will be here soon.

I've done with all the Valentine's Bit Bit Bunnies.
And I'm currently rushing some local custom orders
which I am very satisfied with the outcome.

First, let me start with this cute piggy couple pair.
They aren't custom order but I thought I would make it
to spare to those who are still looking for v-day gifts.

They are still available though.
Please kindly email at
onelovecottage@gmail.com
to purchase :))

They are palm sized and they are in cutest pink :)

Next is this cute lil starry blue elephant.
It is designed by my customer for v-day gift.
Isn't he sweet? :) awww

And this pair is specially custom made for Chinese New Year (CNY)
This is version 1.0 and I personally like the one with the snake
on its head very much. I'm born in the year of snake, so I guess
that explains all. LOL. You may guess my age, but please keep it
to yourself :P

This is yet another version of CNY Bit Bit Bunnies.
Some adore this version 2.0
How about you? Vr 1.0 or 2.0? :)

It is simple yet resembles some CNY elements with it.
It took me sometime to stitch up the "副" means blessed in mandarin
as I wasn't chinese educated. I am able to speak though :D

Here are some polaroid photos I took with my
instax camera. At least I can still look at them
and feel contented to know that it was my own
creations and they are all well with their new owners <3 nbsp="">

Let me end with this picture, which is all my creations. :)
The feeling is great to see such an amount of amigurumis
that I've made so far.

************************************************

It is easy to learn the art of amigurumi, but it takes time
and patience to achieve such a beautiful creation.
Some may think I might have over-priced my products, but please
kindly reconsider the efforts and designs I have put in
these products, its ain't like others you can find in retails.

They are purely 100% handmade by me myself.
I've been doing this for almost 1 year + now
not included the felt material products that I've made
for almost 2 years.

I designed and made them alone. I am also the photographer
of my products. I list them up on Etsy and promoted
without help from others.

This is my passion, even my fingers and hands feel sore,
I think it worth it all as I know there will always be
somebody who appreciates the art and handmade that I did.
THANK YOU
to those who supported and love my creations :)
The same goes to all crafters and artist in the world.

Please appreciate arts and crafts.
100% hand crafted , 0% machines.

Two Zero One Three : 2013

Happy New Year 2013!
(IG Monster drawn by me, psttt I'm a IG addict)

It's a brand new year,
let's make this year a memorable and productive one.

Time flies and I've never stop crafting and creating
since 1st of January and it's already
3rd of January today. How have everyone been doing? :)

Grumpy seems unhappy while both her sisters are enjoying their teas.

This is my first Molly Doll, and she is mine :D
I brought her to Kota Kinabalu, but sadly, I didn't manage to
capture a sight of her with Mount Kinabalu because
the mountain was blocked by thick clouds >.<"

I'm reaaaaally addicted in making them.
Here's the fourth Molly standing with the other three in purple suit.

They are all available for purchases at my Etsy Shop.
Please kindly visit my shop here:

It's time to shop for your Valentine's gifts.
It's always never early to shop for gifts.
Something different this year for your loved ones perhaps?

Recap of 2012

2012 is almost ending in a few days.

Doomsday is a joke, it never did happen on the
21st December 2012.

Thanks God, I'm still breathing at this moment,
living in this beautiful earth doing what I love doing.

2012 has been a very meaningful year to me.
Some dreams were achieved while some wishlists were fullfilled.
*yay*

In March, I went on a vacation to Lang Tengah Island, Malaysia.
It was my first time doing snorkelling and it was really fun :D

In September, I went to Korea for a vacation.
I really love the food there. Cosmetic there are so cheap
that you can't resist to not buy them.

I attended Wonderful Pipit Market 8 on May as a vendor.

And these are the items I managed to make in a short period of
time. I did these during my university studies.

Finally, I've graduated from my 5 years of studies in Accounting and
attended my convocation in October.

I started working not long after convocation on October.

And they are my colleagues from the company I worked with.
Yes, we have a very small company where there're only 4 of us :)

And so, I attended another bazaar with my friend, Ching Yee
at Markets @ Jaya One during December.

My Baby Duffy is already 1 year and 4 months old by now.

Here's our little
x'mas party with my Uni mates :)

Next year,
2013
will be another year that I'll be
very much looking forward to.

There will be new challenges, adventures, places,
and many more awaiting ahead of me.

May everyone have a blessed and fantastic New Year 2013! :D

A Wonderful Pipit Experience ♡

I stumbled upon Pipit Store Online one day calling for local crafters to be
Wonderful Pipit Market 8's (WPM8) vendors. The next thing I did was email-ed them
my details and UNEXPECTEDLY, I was selected.

I was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally excited as this is going to be my first time ever,
participating in a local handmade event! I felt honorable. :D

And yeeeeeeeeeeessss, WPM8 was like a dream come true to me.

And let me present to you my lovely little stall :)
I was the only one making these items and
the preparation time frame was like just 3 months.
And that was the max I can produce since I'm a full time student.

And nevertheless I'm happy how my little stall looks like :)
I actually did studied on how to set up a booth before I went to that
event. I've learnt that layering your booth will make your products
look more attractive. I hope this little tips will help anyone of you
who are going to these kind of events in future :)

I felt so blessed, my cousin bro came all the way to meet & support me!

Many friends (photo not published) have turned up at my stall on that
day too. And I have met a few of my Instagram followers as well :D

I'm so grateful for such a wonderful experience even though
by the end of the day, not all my products were sold off.
It's the memories that will carry with me till the end of my life
that's worth reminiscing.

Last but not least,
I'm thankful to my boyfie who have helped me carried all my stuffs
including the heavy table and chair and accompanied me the whole day.

SleepyHead Little Pink Piggy

Sleepy Head Piggy is my latest creation.
I love how she turned out to be, so pinky! *squeaks

She reminds me of the sleepy moment and the magical bedtime stories.
It's so dreammmmy! :)

My setup for the photoshooting session of my precious doll today.

It wasn't that easy to find the perfect spot to capture photos
of  products which is able to show beautiful details yet in
a very natural lighting.

Thus, I chose one corner, outside of my house to take
these photos. It turned out to be awesome, I'm really happy with the results.
It gives enough lighting to show the real colour of the
product and not much fuss occur during editing.

I personally believe that, photo is the most
crucial point as it shows the beauty of the actual product.

I'm not very good at it though, I hope that more practice will
help me to improve my product photography skills in future.

By the way, Piggy is up for adoption.
You can view more photos of her via my Etsy store :)

I hope you enjoy reading my entry!
Cheers.

1♥cottage::. International Hot Air Balloon

It was a sunny morning today at Putrajaya,
definitely a good weather to go watch hot air balloons.

I reached there around 830am and thought that I was one of
the early birds. However, little did I know I was wrong. I didn't even
get the chance to have a ride in the Hot Air Balloons cuz the tickets
were all sold out by the time I reached.

Other attractions included children colouring competitions
and many others.

My fav photo of me with the balloon :)

I tried acting #likeaboss , win or fail? :P

Don't miss the International Hot Air Balloon Festival!
They will be here at Putrajaya till this Sunday.
Have fun! :D

1♥cottage::.Beach Escape

Sorry for the short MIA.
I just got back from my trip to Pulau Lang Tengah.

It was awesome! :D
The seawater was as clear as crystal.

Snorkeling was the main activity throughout my trip.
It was my very first time though. If you were to ask,
I would say, it was fun! It's like swimming inside a big
aquarium with the fishes.

After the trip, I'm all ready to face my craft jobs again
and the new semester that is going to begin in a jiffy.

Here's as promised the better photo taken with a more
appropriate camera. It was sold out at my Etsy store and
will list them up again when I'm able to take up orders
as I have 4,5,6 bunnies needed
to be done.

Anyways, have a great week ahead peeps! :)

1♥cottage::. Hello 2012 ♥

It's been sooooooooooo long since the last update.
I've gone through a very hectic semester and thank God,
I am having my semester break now.

I reckon, this is the best time to catch up with some orders
and gift that I have promised to make but have not done.

Thus, I spent the whole afternoon working on Bride BBB
for my high school friend who got married. I will work on the
groom soon and show y'all here :)
(remake-able, in case any of you wants it!)

Oh, my furkid ; Duffy is 5 months old now. :)
And I love him loads ♥

*****************************************************************

Well, since I haven't been making any new dolls lately,
I've decided to share some appreciation photos from my beloved customers.

Clemence's from Paris

Rosmawati's from Malaysia

And there are more photos of it at their Instagram (IG) :D

Follow me on IG, if you haven't! :P

Till then.

1♥cottage::. Appreciations ♥

Photo credited to Ling from Malaysia.

Photo credited to Eva from U.S.

Grouped some of the photos from my customers.

As a crafter & seller, the most satisfying part of the business process
is not on the amount of bucks that counts. It is the making and
the feedback from the customers that counts.

Mustaches thank you tags where I carved them with rubber stamp! :D

It makes me feel that all the efforts that I've put into my craft business
all these while has been paid off when happy customers left me feedback.

Free wrapping service from me as requested by one of my
customer from U.S. She wish to have separate boxes for 2 of
the amigurumi dolls that she've ordered from me.

Thus, I made an effort to wrap them up nicely.
They are due for Christmas! :D

I hope these efforts will put a smile on her face :)

Duffy has grown heavier each time I went to visit him.
He's so active!!! Plus he smiles for the camera now! Awww

Got this green tea frap for free upon Starbucks card registration! :D

I've been studying and revising this weekend for my mid-terms.
Just taking some short breaks from crocheting.
what have you guys been doing?
